• It is now possible to set the query parameter "frame" when opening Validate or Poster or Edit to open the application at a specific frame. The frame query parameter is set when navigating the video in those applications so you can easily copy/paste a link to a specific point in the video.
• Mute all players hotkey changed to 'Shift+V'
• Support to configure Automatic or manual save to changes in the timeline

Validate

Features

• Split the app in two workspaces; General & Audio. See details in the user guide for Validate
  • New collapsable side panel to toggle between workspaces.
    • Added hotkey 'alt/opt + <num>' for switching workspace.
    • Added hotkey 'W' for toggling to next workspace.
  • Split up user preferences to global & workspace specific.
    • Global user preference for "Adaptable timeline" to let users decide whether the timeline should look the same between workspaces or be independent with regards to zoom level and track filtering.
    • Workspace specific preference for safe areas.
  • Audio routing support in the Audio workspace.
  • VU Meter updates
    • Moved VU meters to the audio workspace.
    • Show solo/mute buttons for each track and for every channel in a track.
    • Show channel layout labels and use channel index as fallback if channel layout is unknown.
    • In the General workspace, a "mono-mix" audio meter has been added next to the timeline that displays the overall sound level of all tracks combined.

  • It is possible to enable/disable the files tab in settings, and also configurable witch type of files to list.

Fixes

• Copy/paste marker now supports undo/redo.
• Selected marker is now deselected properly when using escape key to cancel marker edit.
• Sorting of groups in the timeline and filter now falls back on alphabetical order if order is not available.
• Added horizontal scrollbar to the marker table that will show up when there is a lack of space.
• Improved visualization of missing muxed audio in the media tab.
• Improved tab navigation for better accessibility.
• Made it possible to copy text from the application, e.g. metadata.
• Fixed an issue in Firefox & Safari where the marker form would not fit in its container in split view.
• It’s no longer possible to create more than one track by pressing the create track button several times rapidly.
• Pressing Enter when the cancel button has focus will now cancel the marker creation.
